Yesterday the wife and I decided to BBQ some chicken for dinner. And what goes better with BBQ in the summer than Okra?
I walked out to the garden and happily found that there were a few Okra pods ready for harvest. So I looked for enough to make a side dish out of that were all about 4” or larger.
This is about the smallest size that I harvest:

And here it is before it was put in Safflower oil to fry:
The flavor of FRESH Okra (less than an hour from plant to plate) is amazing! So much better than anything I have ever bought in a store or resturant!
